Dr. Nere Onosode is dedicated to helping his patients get back on their feet. He received his undergraduate degree in Pre-Med/Biology from The University of Louisville. He received his medical education from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in, Manhattan NY. He completed a three year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with a Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery Certification at University of Louisville and Jewish Hospital.
Dr. Onosode is a founding member of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeon, an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. He is involved in on-going foot and ankle research at the University of Louisville hospital and its affiliates and lectures on foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Onosode is extensively trained to treat multiple foot and ankle problems and also performs minimally invasive procedures including ankle arthroscopy and endoscopic fasciotomies. He is Board Qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is happily married to Dr. Nnenna Onosode PharmD, a Pharmacist and they have a son together. In his spare time, Dr. Onosode enjoys church activities, volunteering, photography, traveling and working out.
