Dr. Robert Roye was born in San Antonio and grew up in Graham, Texas. He graduated with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin, and earned his medical degree with honors by graduating in the top 10% of his medical school class from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center Medical School at San Antonio. He is a lifetime member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Roye completed his Orthopaedic training at the University of Oklahoma Teaching Hospitals in Oklahoma City. He completed Advanced Shoulder and Sports Medicine electives in Ft. Worth.
Dr. Roye and has wife Pam moved to Waxahachie in 1993 to raise their family and establish his Orthopaedic practice serving Ellis county and the surrounding communities. He owns Regional Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center and The Therapy Place. They have six children varying in age from 27 to 11 years old and are active in various activities in the community including wrestling, gymnastics, dance, baseball, volleyball, PTO. Pam is a practicing physical therapist and works at The Therapy Place in Waxahachie.
Dr. Roye is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He diagnoses & treats total joint replacement, ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, bone, muscle and joint disorders, fractures, sports injuries, work injuries, children’s orthopaedics and arthritis.
