Edwin Laryea Annan, MD received his medical degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. He completed his internal medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Medicine Center in Livingston, New Jersey, and his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, located in New York City. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Annan is board certified in internal and pulmonary medicine. He has expertise in a range of respiratory conditions including lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)/emphysema, asthma, interstitial lung diseases, pleural diseases, acute and chronic respiratory failure and other various lung infections.
