Dr. Eric Hamberger is a Pediatric Pulmonologist at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital. Dr. Hamberger provides outpatient clinical care at the Children's Health Center (200 Medical Plaza, Westwood) and Calabasas (Pediatrics Specialty Care, Suite 360) Specialties include asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease of prematurity, technology-dependent patients, and other chronic respiratory conditions.
Dr. Hamberger earned his bachelor's degree at Brown University and received his medical degree at New York Medical College. He completed his pediatric residency at Northwell Health – Cohen Children's Medical Center in New York. Prior to joining UCLA, Dr. Hamberger completed his fellowship training in Pulmonary Medicine and Cystic Fibrosis at Stanford University, where he studied the risk perceptions and use of tobacco-related products in adolescents and young adults with Cystic Fibrosis. Dr. Hamberger's research interests are centered around the risks of emerging tobacco products such as electronic cigarettes.
