We at Milos, like everyone, are facing difficult decisions in this time of the Corona virus national emergency.
Our focus is the safety of our community, both guests and employees.
As with most restaurants, business has declined significantly in the last few days. Yet faithful customers are still coming in for lunch and dinner at both 55th Street and Hudson Yards. It is our responsibility and our pleasure to continue offering hospitality, for our guests to be served meals and/or for convenience pick up prepared foods. That is the core of our culture.
Milos will remain open until further notice. At the same time, we will remain vigilant, following up on the latest updates from government agencies.
While we always have adhered to the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene, we are taking extraordinary steps these days. Tables and other surfaces will be continually sanitized. Our staff will rigorously adhere to newly prescribed guidelines for washing hands and utilizing liquid sanitizers. Our staff will self-quarantine if necessary. Our thoughts remain focused on the safety of all our guests, particularly older family members. We have decided to reduce the number of tables in our restaurants to allow, as recommended, customers to sit farther apart. We will limit the number of patrons at any one time. We believe in our decision to remain open. And we want to thank all our customers who have, in these difficult times, shown continued appreciation and support for Milos.
