Hey everyone! If COVID-19 wasn't bad enough, we are also hitting the middle of the Flu season. The good news is that a lot of the precautions and steps you can take to limit your risk of contracting or spreading coronavirus also apply to influenza and the common cold.

Working from home this morning and this is the only place I could find that is quite (it’s my bathroom)!
I have never worked from home as a family practice doctor, mostly because insurance did not approve telemedicine visits until just recently!! But Euphora Health is different because is is a direct primary care clinic! This means that I work for my patients not for insurance companies. I can now decide what is right for each patient and make a decision to bring them in if needed. This gives me the ability to give more personalized care. It may be hard for the person working from home who only has a 20 minute break to get away to come in my office to get a refill of their blood pressure medication or for the mom with three children, who are currently at home learning, pack up everyone and head to my clinic to discuss mild constipation issues that one of her children just started having.
But seriously, technology is amazing, and I am so happy we are using it more in medicine!
