Norman F. Dacey, a renowned financial writer, once said, “Where, now will the American people find a champion willing and able to harness the strength of this financial giant? Who will lay the present sorry mess open to the light of day? Where will we find a man with the temerity to face these latter-day “untouchable,” to stand in the path of this juggernaut and cry “Halt”? When he is found and takes the job and does it, he will never be forgotten, for he will have brought the American people more financial independence and self-respect than a hundred years of Social Security.”
I believe this was written about Art Williams if it wasn’t, it should have been. If ever I had a Hero it would be Art. Art Williams grabbed of one of the most powerful industries in the world by the collar and shook it. He used common sense to attack the deceit in the life insurance industry. He took his little part-time rag tag army of A.L. Williams’s agents to war against cash value life insurance. His battle cry was “I want Pru” (Prudential). Within a very short time A.L. Williams became the national leader in selling life insurance and sure enough, beat Prudential. Because of the example of Art Williams I know what I am going to do is possible. I believe that as more and more people learn how money really works, the fingers that the financial industry has around our throats will lose their grip and we will regain control of our own destinies. So, let’s see if we can’t get ahold of their collars and start to shake.
I think Jack Handey, a writer for Saturday Night Live, put his finger on the problem in one of his Deep Thoughts where he said “It’s easy to sit there and say you’d like to have more money. And I guess that’s what I like about it. It’s easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money.”

The things that keep us poor are few in number and can be easily fixed. What we need to educate people about is that many times “Conventional Wisdom” is a poor substitute for “Common Sense.” We need to not just show that to them, we need to kick down the conventional wisdom door.
Our real work at Financial Blueprinting is to help people see the world as it is and show them how to make it bow down to their wishes, a world where no one can steal their future with bad investment advice, deceptive lending practices or bad tax advice.
This is a journey to Truth. A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. It starts with one person, then spreads block by block, city by city, state by state, there will be no way to stop it, and it’s been my personal experience that a great effort will be put forth to stop what we are about to teach them from reaching the masses.
This then is a “Declaration of War."
I know this sounds overly dramatic but when we turn on the light of common sense truth, the conventional wisdom cockroaches will first scatter then attack as if their lives depended on it.
If people can regain their reason to hope and those who have given up a “reason” to begin to believe again, if we can inspire an army to come together, we can turn the page on debt. We could end this thing that has kept us poor, kept us stressed and destroyed our future. We could write a new chapter in the American Story.
We been told our dream of changing the financial future of America was naïve. That the American people would never be able to listen because the Financial Giants would never let them hear even a small bit of the truth. That a little bitty company like Financial Blueprinting was too small to make a difference. The person that said that has obviously never tried to sleep in the same room with a mosquito.
New friends have started joining now and believing we can change the world. Because of them, we can now stand in front of this Goliath debt and make it tremble.
In the weeks and years to come, we change thousands of lives. The people we train will become crusaders for hope and agents of change. How can these few effect so many? That’s simple; they will tell their friends.
These are solutions that many will call ‘too good to be true’ or ’pie in the sky‘. They are indeed good and true but it’s not a ‘pie in the sky; when people see their friends become able to pay off all their debt, including their mortgage, in five years. It’s not too good to be true when they can afford to send their kids to private school. It’s not a pipe dream when they see someone that they introduced to our common sense concepts retire at 65 and with the ability to afford the lifestyle that was always just dreamed of.
Once they become aware of the facts they cannot ignore them. It would like trying to ignore a rhinoceros in their kitchen. Most of our dreams about the future were buried alive as youth was dragged from us by the years. The good news is they are still alive; they have to but dig them up and dust them off. Yes, they can still serve them well. Imagine suddenly they will have something to look forward to.
They will learn how other people have recovered and prospered in these economic times.
If people don’t understand the tax system, if they just file the simplest tax return, if they have debt and a job, we will teach them how to turn every dollar of their current debt into many dollars at their retirement. It’s obvious that what you are about to read sounds crazy, but there is proof that it’s true. Are you ready for something that will blow your mind? Here it is; the more you are paying on debt the more money you will have when you retire. In olden times there was a science called Alchemy (a medieval chemical philosophy having as its asserted aims the transmutation of base metals into gold). We will show people how to change debt into gold—literally. Now we simply have to prove it!
