May consider adding handrails to those steps. 😉

It’s a great day to be alive. Thankful to be able to do a job I enjoy. (I think this is my first roof selfie)
Check out these cool marshmallow/hot dog cookers for the campfire. Looks and feels like a fishing pole! I’m guessing there’s a lot of back yard campfires happening about now. 🎣🔥🌭
At Foothills Home Inspections, we use sophisticated technology to see what others can’t. Today we found some typical root intrusion on some vitrified clay drain piping. Home was built in the 1950’s. Our recommendation: clean the main drain line (rooter or hydro jet) now and bi-annually.
Got to do a photo shoot for my new website this morning! It’s going live by Christmas. Thanks for the help Hans & Adam! The new website will include an online scheduler so you can book an inspection with us 24/7 365 without even picking up the phone! (During the mock inspection of my own house I learned that I need to change my furnace filter and clean my gutters! I suggest you do the same.) 🙂
That’s a wrap! We finished 2020 strong with 320 home inspections. Up 35 jobs from 2019. We also added sewer scoping in 2020 which has been a fun addition! I want to thank all of my clients, and real estate colleagues for the opportunity to work with them. I want to thank all of my friends, family, and especially my wife for supporting my dreams of business ownership. 2021 goal is 350 inspections. Let’s do this!!
We have joined the Women’s Council of Realtors as a strategic partner! Excited to share my expertise with the group and learn from the members as to how we can work together to provide a better home buying and selling experience for our clients.
Good information from PFA. Poudre Fire Authority January 24 at 8:00 AM · 🧺 Dryers create heat and tend to be filled with a literal load of combustible materials. That's a good thing when pulling out warm towels, but also means they require some care to continue safely delivering dry clothes. Between 2010 and 2014, dryer and washing machine fires cost Americans an estimated $238 million in property damage annually and most were started by the ignition of dust, fiber, or lint. That’s a lot of property that could have been saved with a little cleaning. Believe it or not, there are additional uses for that soft, grey material you pull off the lint trap between loads. 😮 What to Do with Your Lint 1. Create homemade clay for kids. 2. Add to homemade paper for a soft, linen feel. 3. Keep for kindling on your next camping trip (where fires are allowed). 4. Add to the compost pile. 5. Stuff small crafts. 6. Just throw it away (some of us aren’t crafty).
The new website is rocking and rolling! You can now 🗓 book a 🏡 inspection, radon test, or sewer scope 🪠 (or all three) from our website 24-7-365! www.foothillshomeinspections.com
