He says the thing he likes most about working here is the amazing residents. Scott has two kids, Isaac and Norah. In his free time, Scott enjoys watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers, and spending time with his family. We are happy to announce that our Foxwood Springs Independent Living residents received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine! It was a busy day with two locations set up in the community building, one for our apartment residents and another one for our homes residents. Even though you could not see the smiles under their mask everyone could tell that they were so excited to receive their vaccine!
Foxwood Springs has a resident run gift shop that makes all types of wonderful handmade items! The money from purchases goes to the Fellowship of John fund, which helps residents pay their bills when they no longer have the funds for them. Currently, the gift shop is only open to residents and staff due to COVID-19 restrictions. This is a great addition to the community!
One of our dining room servers, Mercedes, has gotten her COVID-19 vaccine. She did it to protect everyone around her!
Now that the holidays are over, the Landis Child Development Center at Foxwood Springs in Raymore, Missouri, is gearing up for the Winter season by decorating the halls with lots of snowman friends! We have had a couple of snows, which are always fun for the kiddos. Even though our schedule has had some major changes with the pandemic, we seem to find a way to keep things festive and fun. A big “thank you” goes out to our Landis Supervisor, Jane Schlesener, for her brilliant ideas and hard work in organizing and decorating!
