The HHA position is a front line position acting as a representative of Freedom In Home Services and providing services offered by the agency. The HHA will mostly work independently of co-workers and supervisors and therefore must balance good judgment and initiative along with the policies of the agency.
** Assists patients with activities of daily living, including, but not limited to bathing, grooming, skin care, dressing, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting and ambulation as per plan of care.
** Provides a safe, clean and health environment for patients and family by providing light housekeeping tasks such as changing bed linen, laundering of patient’s clothes and linen, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of patient’s environment as per plan of care.
**Maintains professional and effective communication amongst all patients, families, agency staff, supervisors, referral sources and multi-disciplinary team members
