This patient had a mommy makeover. I did a tummy tuck removing 7 pounds of skin and fat, suctioned a little more than 6 liters, and did a breast lift with 535cc silicone implants. Damn! She looks amazing.

Who says tummy tucks don’t look natural? A lot of women I see are hesitant to have a tummy tuck, even when it’s their only good option. They usually say they know someone who had one and it looks unnatural. They look boxy, they have Frankenstein-bellybutton and that scar! How will they ever hide that? Well, I’ve spent 15+ years working on techniques to prevent all the tell-tale signs of tummy tucks. First, I use extensive liposuction to add curves and definition. Next, I make sure the scar is low so that the patient can conceal it with a bikini. And most importantly, the bellybutton has to be natural. This is the most difficult of the three things to accomplish and in my experience it’s the most important to patients. I only recommend a tummy tuck when I feel I can accomplish these 3 goals, as in this patient. Rolling into the weekend with a beautiful breast augmentation. She chose 615cc smooth silicone xtra hi profile implants. Great choice! Recovery is rapid. Her surgery was two weeks ago and she’s back to normal. Bikini season can’t get here soon enough.

Thankful we were able to have our annual office Christmas party this year @delfriscosdoubleeagleplano . Nobody deserves to be celebrated more than my team. 2020 has brought many challenges to healthcare, obviously, and these ladies have handled them all like champs.
