Chelsea Snider, MD
Chelsea Snider, MD, is an experienced adult and pediatric plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Vida Bela Plastic Surgery. At her practice in Frisco, Texas, she specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face and body, reconstructive surgery for breast cancer, skin cancer, facial injuries, and neurofibromatosis. In addition, she is trained in pediatric craniofacial surgery for infants and children with congenital or acquired anomalies.
Dr. Snider grew up in Santa Barbara, California. She moved to the East Coast and earned her Doctor of Medicine at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Afterward, she completed her residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Snider completed the prestigious pediatric craniofacial fellowship at The Craniofacial Center in Dallas, Texas, treating a number of complex conditions with the guidance of Dr. Jeffrey Fearon.
Dr. Snider is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, an exclusive medical honor society, and has received many awards for academic excellence in research. In addition, she has given numerous presentations and been published in several peer-reviewed journals. She continues to stay up to date in the latest research and is actively involved in projects related to breast, cleft lip and palate, facial anatomy, craniofacial anomalies, and neurofibromatosis.
Passionate about helping her patients live their best lives, Dr. Snider is proud to provide quality, personalized, multidisciplinary care. Her extensive training and expertise allow her to give her patients natural, detailed, and beautiful results.
When she’s not at work, Dr. Snider enjoys the outdoors and loves to spend time traveling, hiking, surfing, and skiing. She has three brothers and is married to Dr. Guilherme Barreiro. Dr. Snider also stays actively involved with mission work, using her love of craniofacial surgery to help children around the world.
