GEORGE GARY CARD, M.D.
George Gary Card, M.D., is a 1967, graduate of Baylor University, Waco, Texas, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. His entire medical education was completed at Baylor College of medicine where he earned the degree of Doctor of Medicine, along with a Rotating Internship, and Residencies in General Surgery, and Otorhinolaryngology. Dr. Card has a keen interest in medical education, and is currently on the teaching staff of the Residency Program at Memorial Southwest Hospital. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Upon completion of his medical education, Dr. Card served in the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of Captain, and served as a Flight surgeon. He joined the Houston ENT And Allergy Clinic in July 1978. Dr. Card serves on numerous professional and civic committees. He has served as President of the Houston Otolaryngologic Society and served four separate terms as Otolaryngology Section chairman at Memorial Southwest Hospital. He has also served for the past ten years as the board chairman of Faith in Practice - a non-profit organization that sends medical, surgical and dental teams to Guatemala to provide care to indigent patients there. He has personally formed and led over fifteen different teams to Guatemala during his involvement with Faith in Practice.
Dr. Card is a participating provider of most insurance plans and is accepting new patients.
