Dr. Grant Chu is an East-West medicine physician who practices in Palos Verdes and Torrance. He is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Chu received his medical degree from the Brown University School of Medicine, and his Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University in Los Angeles. He then completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at UCLA, and a fellowship in general internal medicine at UCLA through the Center for East-West Medicine.
Prior to joining UCLA, Dr. Chu lived in Australia, where he practiced hospital medicine and received training in cancer care. He then moved back to California and was in private practice at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach.
Dr. Chu is currently an assistant clinical professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in the Center for East-West Medicine. He previously held academic titles at the University of California, Irvine and the University of Queensland.
