We received a nice surprise just before the New Year. Grossman Green PLLC lawyers Abby Rhodes Green and Frederick Moore received an honorable mention by the Kentucky Trial Court Review for their verdict back in January as it named the "top trial lawyers" for the year. Our entire team worked hard to secure a great result for a very deserving client. We look forward to continuing to fight for our clients in 2021. Thanks, Kentucky Trial Court Review!

Today we have the KTCR Plaintiff Trial Lawyer of the Year.
Let's go to the runner-up and an honorable mention.
The runner-up is Tad Thomas who hit a home run in January of 2020 in a very challenging nursing home case in Paducah against top notch lawyers. The defendant was blamed for repeated choking events that led to the death of an elderly resident. The jury awarded suffering of $1,000,000 and $4,000,000 more in punitives for a total of five million dollars.
Just five months earlier in August of 2019 Tad hit the exact same nursing home (in another neglect case) for a $2.213 verdict.z
Thomas was assisted at trial by Brian Jasper and Lindsey Cordes
The honorable mention is to Abigale Rhodes Green of Grossman & Green. In January she secured a $440,000 verdict in a very minor rear-end case that resulted in soft-tissue symptoms -- she was joined at trial by Frederick Moore.
These kind of verdicts just doesn't happen. I'm telling you she's one to watch. She has really unique and special skills with a jury.
We'll have the winner shortly.

On Friday, Grossman Green PLLC filed a federal lawsuit with a group of powerhouse lawyers alleging that Kenneth Walker's constitutional rights were violated in the botched police raid on March 13, 2020. We look forward to continuing to fight for accountability for the events that took place on March 13, 2020 and after.
