Riverview Landing State Fair Day! What a fun way to celebrate- while socially distancing! Craft fair, games and of course- food!
Soaking up the sun for Happy Hour and music by Squeezy Wes. Could not have asked for better weather!
A successful Drive Thru Breakfast this morning- wonderful weather and a good turn out. Thank you to everyone who came by and to Guardian Angels Elim Home Care & Hospice for partnering!
Octoberfest celebration was a hit yesterday- cool weather couldn't stop us from listening to great music outdoors on our patios and decks and enjoying soft pretzels and beer!
What a special delivery from Jane's Pen Pal, Sydney! Jane was beaming when she received the surprise! She is excited to continue writing and sharing stories with Sydney as time goes on.
Roctober- brought to us by the Wellness Committee- is going off in full swing with our Resilience Rocks! Employees are busy spending some break time painting inspiring rocks for others to take or to leave behind on a walk for someone else to find. Inspiration is something everyone could use a little of these days. #gawellness

What a fun trip and perfect weather to head to Crow River Senior Center in City of St. Michael to serve 50 free delicious lunches prepared by Chef Carlos at Riverview Landing courtesy of Guardian Angels Senior Services! Many happy folks walked away with a meal sure to satisfy!
What a great event! Halloween Parade around Riverview Landing. Thank you City of Otsego, MN Parks and Recreation for putting this on and letting us participate!
These wreathes bring the kind of holiday spirit we need! Perfect timing with the recent snowfall!
Getting creative at Riverview Landing- homemade soap! It sure smelt fresh and clean in the Chapel!
Our eyes have been glued to the windows as different crews have been preparing for the new bridge to be put in place! Nothing too visual has changed yet (other than the HUGE machinery we have been seeing) but they have been working tirelessly to have the spot ready and to bring in the bridge! Stay tuned for dramatic changes weeks to come!

Tea Time at Riverview Landing!
2020 has been a year of finding new ways to celebrate and the Guardian Angels Annual Employee Appreciation Celebration wasn't immune to the changes that needed to be made to keep everyone safe. That said- Riverview Landing had an opportunity to share a few words with the chosen and prestigious 'Angels Among Us' award and celebrate on a small scale the BIG things employees do every day to make the residents and their families, vendors and visitors feel special and like part of the family.
We do not pass up on an opportunity to hand out treats- today was a Pumpkin Pudding Cake- just in time for Thanksgiving.
Nothing says fall like fresh doughnuts and spiked cider!

What an amazing gift members of the Otsego, via OTSEGO BULLETIN BOARD, and surrounding area gave to each of our Riverview Landing residents. Thank you to Kristi Kay, granddaughter of a Riverview Landing resident, for organizing this call to action and making the days of our residents brighter and to EVERYONE who had a part in making this happen! The compliments, the shock and even the few tears of happiness showed how much this meant.
334 seniors in Elk River and Otsego at four Senior Housing communities- and employees with tons of treats- were touched by your giving hearts.
This year, more than years past, this has had an impact some may never truly understand.

It is happening! We are beyond excited to see this beautiful bridge being put into place! The bridge will give residents of Riverview Landing and visitors of Otsego Parks & Recreation Carrick's Landing a way to cross the retaining pond to see the river without walking the full 1 mile loop if they choose. We will have a lot of eyes watching the progression throughout the day!
