We were informed of an upsetting incident that happened in our Oak Garden on Sunday, 10/18. The hate speech and actions used by a group of patrons against another table is not tolerated here at Güero's Taco Bar. Over the last 30 years, we have built an inclusive community, one where we want our guests and staff to feel safe and valued. During COVID-19, we have put specific policies in place to ensure the safety of our guests: strategic table placement to maximize social distancing, increased outdoor seating and mask requirements for everyone on our property. We hope our community understands these policies are implemented for the safety of our staff and our guests. We are investigating the actions of this particular group who visited Güero's on Sunday, and hope those who visit us in the future come in with an open mind, loving hearts and abide by our safety standards as we navigate these times. We can't thank everyone enough for your support.
