Harmeet S. Mangat, MD, FACP is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, and he practices at Northeast Internal Medical Associates in San Antonio.
He attended medical school at the Government Medical College in Punjab, India, and completed his internal medicine residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He has been in private practice since 1987, receving board certification in Internal Medicine in 1988 and Geriatric Medicine in 1998 (recrtified in 2009).
Dr. Mangat is a member of several professional societies including Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and Fellow ACP. He is Medical Director at Heartland of NE San Antonio Nursing Facility and Autumn Winds Retirement Lodge in Schertz. He served as Chief of Staff at Methodist Hospital | Northeast in 2002.
