Juan S. Pico, DO specializes in Internal Medicine at Northeast Internal Medical Associates in San Antonio.
Dr. Pico is originally from New York and completed his education at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, earning a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. He then completed an internship and residency at Brook Army Medical Center, Texas, as a U.S. Army officer in 1996.
Since graduating from residency, Dr. Pico has practiced medicine all over the world before coming back to Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) to serve as Chief of the Internal Medicine Clinic. From BAMC he was sent to Bosnia and Iraq as a field surgeon during several fast-paced combat tours. His motto was "Bring good medicine to bad places," giving the best possible care to soldiers despite adverse and hostile environments.
Upon completion of active duty, he moved back to San Antonio and he now practices with where with Northeast Internal Medical Associates.
