Do you have a tiny dancer ready to take those moves from the kitchen to the stage?!? Well look no further, because our Saturday ‘Tiny Tot’ class, from 10:45-11:30, is the PERFECT one! Dancers, ages 2-3, get to learn the foundation of dance, terminology, and perform in our end of season recital! Luckily, it’s not too late to register!

Last week we had team night with our Artistry Teen group on Mondays! Due to the situation at hand, we decided to break up our larger Artistry team into smaller weekly groups.

We played games, had pizza, chatted about life and then we went over our TEAM CODE!

Our team code is really important to our dance family as it describes our guiding principles. Each of these principles help us to remember WHO we are and WHY we started! This expands to the whole team, which is students+coaches/instructors+parents.

It’s that time of the year again, CHOREOGRAPHY SEASON! With rehearsals starting back up, new dances being created, and old ones being refashioned, your dancer may need some additional help!
This is the perfect opportunity for some privates!!!! Privates are a great resource to help your dancer with anything from new choreography, to all around technique and skills! It’s one-on-one time with the instructor of your choice, focusing solely on your dancer!!
If you and your dancer are interested in privates, please reach out to the instructor of your choice to discuss! If you’re unsure how to contact them, please email staff@hdcdance.com and we steer you in the right direction! Now is the perfect time to stay on-top of your dance season, just as it’s beginning!

CONGRATS to these two girls who broke the HDC plank record!!!!!! They held a plank for 12 minutes — you read that right, TWELVE MINUTES!!! The plank was constant monitored and these girls had to maintain correct placement 100% of the time to stay in the running. The previous record was ~8.5 minutes (sadly, official record keeping at that point in time was not kept up with, lol!! We do know the record holder(s) were a couple of the juniors from a few years ago who are teens now - @bxby_peyton @ella_harless @selena.noch @skyler_walker1 @its_k.i.r.aaa etc., comment if you know who it was for sure). Anyway, these two girls were straight BEAST MODE and would not give in, even when we told them to come down. They were in it to win it and @hdcmissbrooke had to STOP them at 12 minutes and ensure them that they would each put their knees down at the exact same time. There were actual happy tears at the end!! They deserve a round of applause, congrats to the current champs from our MINI JAZZ Co. 👏🏼🙌🏼👏🏼🙌🏼
