This year more than ever, the seasonal flu shot is critical to distinguishing between having the flu and having COVID19. This is a COVID 19 update from your providers at Health Now Family Practice. We are currently performing telehealth video visits with any patient, established or new, who needs to be seen due to the current situation. You can call the clinic to schedule this. Not only can we home deliver a Corona swab to your doorstep if necessary with results in 48-72 hours, but we can also check for things such as a bladder infection or if you are concerned about a stomach issue, tests can be delivered to your home without any exposure. We are happy to be working with a lab that is offering these services for our patients. We are also still able to send patients to Labcorp for any blood tests needed, fill prescriptions and also send for any imaging that may be needed. We are here for you!

I am wanting to let everyone know that if you are needing any type of doctor visit including any cold symptoms that you are worried about, you can call my clinic at 303-953-9405 to make a video appointment with a provider form your home. We are also working with a lab that if we feel after talking to you it is appropriate, this lab will come and drop off a Coronavirus test on your doorstep for the safety of everyone and to limit any contact and they will overnight the test with results coming back in 48-72 hours. Due to the current situation, Health Now Family Practice is currently scheduling Telehealth home phone visits with our providers, this will be treated just like a visit in the clinic and billed to insurance or given a discounted self pay rate of $70. This will allow us to do our part in keeping everyone healthy and safe while attending to your symptoms at the same time, ordering medications as necessary or any imaging you may need. This will also allow us to send you to appropriate testing facilities to get screened for Coronavirus as necessary for each individual case. Call (303) 953-9405 to schedule a Telehealth visit.
We are further requesting that ALL patients with any cold symptoms stay home and treat conservatively as you would any cold with over the counter cold medications, lots of fluids, rest and cool mist humidifiers at your bedside. AT ANY TIME if you are feeling shortness of breath or cannot keep a fever down with Tylenol, please call us and we will give you locations of testing facilities or direct you to go immediately to the ER.

Hello, I wanted to put this out there for all women in Colorado to see. My name is Tracy Jimenez and I am a Cervical Cancer Survivor. Cervical cancer diagnoses in Colorado are staying steady and right now an average of 150 cases of Invasive Cervical Cancer are diagnosed each year. There are estimated to be 3500 survivors in Colorado right now and I am just one of them. I am putting this out there to let women know that I am raising Awareness about this disease and that No One Fights Alone in this anymore. I have just gotten the Governor to sign a proclamation making January 2021 to be Cervical Cancer Awareness Month and I am working hard to help to find a cure. I do want women to know I am here and would love to be supportive and become friends. Thank you for your time💙😊

Exams also include STD testing which looks for HPV, one of the most common STDs that if left untreated, can cause cervical cancer.
