Latest Heritage Animal Hospital news

The next few weeks are going to be HOT and humid! Make sure your furry friends are staying cool! Keep outside time to a minimum, watch for hot pavement if they are out there, and make sure they have plenty of access to water and a cool space. Here's Qwerty modeling his cooling vest that helps him enjoy the outdoors when it's hot. Even with the cooling vest, he doesn't get to be outside during the peak hours of the day! Show us how your pets will be keeping cool this weekend!
Dr. Hartman treated us all to a some special treatment for our hands and some masks to wear. Keeping everyone safe includes lots of hand washing and sanitizing which results in VERY dry hands! We are very grateful!! Thanks Dr. Hartman!! We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. We look forward to continuing to take care of your beloved furry family members!
A special "Thank you" to Dr. Alger's aunt for providing us with cloth masks and allowing us to continue to care for patients safely. We are still open our normal hours and seeing patients. Don't hesitate to call us with any questions or concerns. We hope you are all staying healthy and staying home if you can!
We hope you are all staying home, staying safe, and staying healthy! If you haven't already been to Heritage in the past week, we are doing Curbside Veterinary Care. During the "Shelter In Place" ordered, we will be seeing sick pets and will not be grooming dogs. If you have any questions, need medications filled, or aren't sure if your pet needs to be seen, we are open normal hours and we would love to hear from you!
Whether or not you're Irish- we all are today. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
We hope this finds you all healthy. We are doing everything we can to monitor the COVID-19 situation. With that said, we are currently open and operating as usual. We do ask that if your pet needs care but you or a family member are experiencing any signs of illness or if you have recently had exposure by traveling within the past 14 days please call the office so that we can make a plan to help you get the care that your pet needs. Please know that we are taking all of the recommended precautions here at the office to keep our staff, clients, and patients healthy. At this time, pets are not considered to be carriers of COVID-19 and are not at risk of contracting the disease, however if you are sick, it is still a good idea to limit contact with your pet. Stay healthy and let us know if we can help you.
