Job Posting: MP Adolescent Health Coordinator
Highland County Community Action Organization Inc. has part-time, three year grant position for an Adolescent Health Coordinator. This applicant will work under the Director of Special Projects and adhere to grant requirements as set forth. Successful applicant will plan and implement youth resiliency program, while ensuring objectives, reporting and work plan requirements are met. Selected candidate will also provide counseling and supportive services to assist clients aged 11-17 with including emotional, behavioral, physical, nutritional, and wellness to increase health equity in the adolescent population.
Minimum qualifications for this position are a Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, Dietary or licensure such as LPC, LSW, RN, LD or other health related field. Preferred one year experience in child development or mental health field with young children and families.
Applicants must have compassion for county residents and the desire to be a part of an agency that is making a difference in our county. Applicant must have a valid Ohio Drivers License and be insurable under the agency fleet insurance policy and must be able to bend, stoop, and lift over 40 pounds. This position is part time Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-4:30pm and will report to Highland County Community Action Org., main office in Hillsboro, Ohio.

Bell Ringers Needed (Volunteers & Paid Positions) The Holidays are just around the corner. Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. is seeking individuals who wish to help "Ring The Bell" in both Hillsboro and Greenfield areas. While we seek individuals or business volunteers, there are also paid positions for those looking to make a little extra cash this season. This opportunity is made possible through the Salvation Army with the majority of proceeds staying local to help others within our community. Bell ringers will receive minimum wage for standing outside, in all types of weather and ringing the bell while encouraging individuals to place a donation in the kettle. Bell ringing typically starts the Sunday after Thanksgiving until Christmas. Please contact Ruth Cutright at HCCAO at 937-393-3458 if you are interested in applying
