So... today's request for a daughter's 50something bday: fun, festive, whimsical, out of the ordinary, incorporate purple and red. Found an old mini milkcan painted red, added the ting ting and curling ribbon for festive part...whatcha think???😁BTW, the customer loved it!
Today’s request..casket spray in red, pink, and white highlighted with red and pink roses. The roses were requested, but left the rest to us. Turned out Very elegant and feminine, and One of the prettiest combinations I have done. We appreciate customers who trust us to design something nice for them.
Saturday’s wedding bouquet...a bright combo, with the requested colors. The sunflowers really stood out with the blue hydrangea and delphinium. Always like to take advantage of the hydrangea’s foliage when possible, as it always makes a dramatic statement with its shape.
Fields of sunflowers..absolutely stunning. Wish there were more farms like this to share their crop of flowers. GULFCOASTWEEKEND.COM Coastal Ridge Farm: Sunflowers as far as the eye can see - Gulf Coast Weekend
Have a safe Memorial Day weekend. We will be open again on Tuesday 5/26. Weekdays we are open until at least 3pm. Saturday openings vary with current situation.
So, just in time for Mother’s Day, we will be back in operation, beginning Monday 5/4. We are re-stocking with fresh flowers, and are ready to accept orders for local Non-Contact Delivery. We have modified delivery protocols, and adopted some new procedures to maintain a safe environment. Currently, our adjusted hours are 10am to 3pm. Please bear with us as we navigate through this, keeping our staff and customers safe. Most important, remember your Moms this week. What better time than now to spread a little sunshine and show them they are special!!
This weekend's wedding bouquet. Traditional short cascade in pink and white, with roses, spray roses, lilies, stock, mini carnations, and hydrangea
This weekend I had the privilege of providing the flowers for a special couple. Khristy and Trent had planned their wedding for March, but due to COVID had to postpone at last minute. They went ahead and privately married on their planned day, but postponed their public ceremony to Oct 31. Their vendors were great in meeting this unexpected challenge, and everything came together for a beautiful event. Every bride should have their dream wedding, regardless of what challenges are put in their path. Over the past 20 years, I have witnessed Khristy grow from a young pre-teen, into a beautiful, independent young woman, who met and married the perfect life partner for her. It was honor to have their trust in me to assist in making their day special. It makes me happy when they tell me they just love their flowers, then I know I've completed my task. Thank you Khristy and Trent!😊
Here’s another unique design from last week for a memorial service for extended family. My best talent comes out when allowed to use my own creativity with no limitations. Can you name all the items I used from nature?
A customer asked me the other day if this pandemic has hurt our wedding business. In some aspects yes...but this weekend I provided flowers for a Zoom wedding the couple held in their home. Sign of the times we are currently in. Brides bouquet of white roses and alstroemerias accented with sunflowers and mini Viking Pom poms, with a matching boutonnière for the groom.
This is a man who knows how to give flowers... Julie Morgan January 24 at 8:42 PM · The man brought the four cards, the four boxes of candy, and the four sets of flowers up to the cashier for checkout. The cashier rolled her eyes at him as she looked at his wedding band and mumbled..."these players make me sick." This caused everyone else to look at the man funny too. So the man responded..."one set is for my mom because my dad passed away and he used to do this for my mom...and he taught me how to give love. The next set is for my wife because I love her and she teaches me how to receive and treasure love. And the third set is for my daughter...because it's up to me to teach her how she should be treated and who she should give her love to. And you can have my fourth set because I just wanted you to know that a man can show you love and understanding and not want anything from you. Have a blessed day." She melted and everyone else did too. just goes to show you don't judge someone you know nothing about love it 🌹 🌺 🌷 ★¨`*•♫.•Pass it on!! Give someone else a reason to smile. ♫ ..•* ★
