If anyone has seen a male German shepherd that looks like this, message me if you have any details or know where he might be. His name is Salem if you try to call for him. He was wearing a blue collar and he was near Lower Cedar Valley Rd. in Hudson. He was last seen at 5 on Thursday (please share)
Meet the Team! Kristi is our fantastic receptionist. She somehow manages to answer all the phone lines and keep up with all our patients coming and going. She is an incredibly hard worker and keeps our entire front office organized. We would be lost without her! She is also our current, not so crazy cat lady. Thank you, Kristi!
Meet the Team! Megan joined our crew earlier this year as a receptionist. She now works both as a receptionist and a veterinary assistant. She is always willing to to help with a smile and has the kindest heart. She has a zoo at home with 7 dogs, 3 cats, chickens and 2 snakes. If there is a Pomeranian around, Megan will be close! Meet the Team! Destanie is a recent graduate of Gaston County's Medical Technology Program. She loves putting her classroom knowledge to work in the office. Destanie always has a smile on her face and a cheerful attitude. If there is a Beagle nearby, she will be the one to take care of it. Thank you, Destanie!
Meet the Team! Katy is a Registered Veterinary Technician and our patient treatment leader. She is an amazing surgical tech and will watch your pet like a hawk, then snuggle and spoil them. Katy is incredibly proficient and will have 5 things done before you can even ask her. She loves all the Rotties!! Thank you, Katy!
Meet the Team!! Melissa is a senior vet assistant and is our staff trainer. She has the patience of a saint and will answer a million questions with a smile! She has a huge heart and a menagerie of 5 dogs, 5 cats and 3 turtles. Thank you, Melissa!

Introducing Sam, our January Pet of the Month! He is an almost 5-year-old Anatolian Shepard Dog! He has recently spent time with us casting his right ulna. From the time he enters the front door, to the time he leaves, he is such a happy, tail-waggin boy! 🐾
Hudson Animal Hospital would like to introduce our new Veterinarian, Dr. Marilyn Staskel!🐾🐾
Dr. Staskel grew up in rural upstate New York with a dream of becoming a vet since she could remember. She graduated from Houghton College with a B.S. in Biology in 2007, went on to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and completed her clinical studies at the University of Missouri in 2011. For the last 10 years, she has been practicing veterinary medicine in various parts of North Carolina. She enjoys camping, hiking, and kayaking and now lives in Hickory with her husband and dog!
