Our body is always giving us information if we listen to it. This morning I awoke quite tired. I got out of bed slipping on my shoes as usual. As I was walking down the stairs, I was immediately aware of the thought sensing each foot feeling the slight difference. With cats to feed, coffee to make and a rumbly in the tumbly, it was about an hour later I became aware again of the subtle imbalance my feet were alerting me to. I looked down where to my surprise discovered why.

I grew up with both parents smoking...in the house...in the car. I and 4 of my siblings picked up the smoking habit. My mother used to say "Do as I say, not as I do." Children learn more from modeling than words. I quit cold turkey in my college years but that technique isn't for everyone. While in a relaxed state (hypnosis), you can change your perception, focus on an intention while becoming more receptive. Becoming a clean air breather is just a thought away.

It's a quick 15 minute process before bed. 5 minute stretch, 5 minute breathing & 5 minute meditating.
