Mauricio Garcia Jacques, MD, is a board-certified pain management specialist serving patients from the three iACHE locations in the Houston area. In the EMG Center, Galleria, and North Houston, Dr. Garcia Jacques helps patients learn to live fulfilling lives despite chronic pain from fibromyalgia, migraines, past injuries, and more.
Dr. Garcia Jacques attended medical school at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Monterrey, Mexico. After an internship at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, Massachusetts, he completed his residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. He continued his specialty training with a pain medicine fellowship at the acclaimed Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
Throughout his career, Dr. Garcia Jacques received training in a diverse group of medical focuses, including public health, global health, biostatistics, health information technology, and acupuncture. He published his own research in critical care medicine, anesthesiology, pain medicine, and cost-effectiveness.
At iACHE, Dr. Garcia Jacques applies unique, multidisciplinary pain management strategies to men and women living with chronic pain. He also provides innovative ketamine infusion therapy to patients with severe anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
