With the Holiday's approaching and wreaths ready to be placed outdoors, remember to keep wreaths made of Yew Plants out of reach of your horse(s).
The needles and seeds of all yews are highly poisonous to horses, cattle, sheep, and goats.
It's recommended never to hang wreaths of Yew on barn doors or on fence posts where horses could reach them. Also, do not discard Yew ornaments or hedge clippings onto manure or compost piles where horses have access.

Reminder❗️❗️ If you do decide to blanket it needs to be rated for the weather they’re turned out in. If they’re wearing a blanket that’s not rated heavily enough for the cold weather that they’re in, then that blanket is laying their hair coat down, and is probably doing them more damage than good in terms of keeping them warm.
