Staff Spotlight! In May 2020, we welcomed Dr Bayliff to PETCARE! We hope you all get the chance to meet her! Dr Brandi Bayliff grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and received her BS in Biology from the University of Utah in 2008. She moved to Southern California in 2009 to attend veterinary school at Western University of Health Sciences, where she was inducted into the Phi Zeta Honors Society in 2012 and graduated in 2013. Prior to veterinary school, she worked as a veterinary technician for over eleven years in two small animal practices in the Salt Lake Valley. After graduation, she practiced in Montrose, California, a small town near Los Angeles, for the last seven years before beautiful Utah and its four seasons called her home. Her interests lie in relationship-centered care, dentistry, nutrition, medical oncology, and soft tissue surgery. Dr Bayliff wanted to further help her painful, geriatric patients when medication wasn’t enough and pursued additional training in acupuncture. She became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist from the Chi Institute in January 2020, which required 150 hours of online and onsite lecture, 32 hrs of laboratory practice, passing of 4 written exams, passing the clinical acupoint exam, submission and approval of a case report and a 30 hr internship with a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. Dr Bayliff shares her life with her husband, her Great Dane, Hodor, and her cat, Clark W. Griswald. She enjoys yoga, weight lifting, running and gardening, as well as spending quality time with her family, whom she is thrilled to be back in Utah for.

We understand the concern everyone feels due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our pets mean a lot to us and we still need to provide needed medical care during this period, as well as protecting our staff and clients as well as we can. 7/23/2020 - We have been notified that a member of our staff has contracted COVID-19. All exposed staff members will be on home quarantine until we re-open fully on 8/3/2020. We have introduced a Telemedicine option for those of you needing medical care for your pets in the interim. You can read about it and download the app here: https://www.petcareanimalhospitalutah.com/televet-service/ Each day a doctor will be available for consultations from 10am-12pm and from 1pm-3pm. We will have non-exposed staff at the hospital to fill prescriptions or for food sales from 3pm-5pm each day (Monday-Sunday). You may also contact us at frontdesk@petcareutah.com and via text at 801-302-9061. Thank you for support. PETCAREANIMALHOSPITALUTAH.COM Televet Service – PETCARE Animal Hospital
