We will plan on working on Brophy this Wednesday at 6 pm and Thursday at 10 am for the last time before the race on Saturday. We will work on the downhill trails. If you can make either one it would be great. Meet at the playground parking lot with a shovel or rake if you have one.

Twelve days until race day at Lake Brophy County Park. Thanks to all your excellent work, most of the race course has been worked on. We still have not attended to the berms on the field portion of Surgeon marked in pink. We will address it this Wednesday at 5:30 pm. Note the different time to allow for the high school league coaches call later the same night. Meet at the Brophy playground parking lot with a shovel or steel rake or spring rake at 5:30 PM. Thanks for all your excellent work.

We will work today at 10 am. Please bring steel rake or spring rake or shovel. Gloves are a good idea. Grass is very wet. Waterproof or resistant shoes/boots will be more comfortable. Too wet to ride now. Maybe better this afternoon. Maybe not rideable this afternoon. Thanks.

About 20 or so volunteers helped fix up a few berms and fill in some of the ruff spots on the trails at Brophy County Park. Thanks everyone would showed up to keep our trails rock solid! Next work day will be Wednesday August 12th @ 6pm.
We will be closed today October 20th for employee training. Feel free to message us or give us an email at info@jakesbikes.com if you need anything.
We will be open October 21st with normal business hours.
Thanks Trek Bicycle for keeping us rolling both with coffee and next level continuous improvement training! Jake’s Bikes will be closed October 20th so all employees can attend TREK World training.

One can see the green leaves still on the trees. Nearly all of Alexandria’s Kensington Rune Stone Park’s single track trails are groomed thanks to Mike at Douglas County Parks. The groomed trails are still soft. With low overnight temps, tomorrow am could be good.
