Dr. Jeanette Ilarde is a primary care physician who practices in Ventura. She believes that patient care is a two-way street, and encourages patients to actively collaborate with her and other physicians when making health care decisions. She is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Ilarde received her medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and completed her internal medicine training at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York�now NYU Langone Hospital. She then completed her infectious disease and geographic medicine fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center. After her fellowship, Dr. Ilarde worked as an assistant clinical professor at Meharry Medical College and at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She later joined the faculty of Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
In additional to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Ilarde is also on faculty at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Having worked with patients from all walks of life, she is excited to continue doing so with the environment that UCLA Health provides.
In her free time, Dr. Ilarde enjoys traveling, trying out new foods and watching TV shows with her husband and three kids.
