Dr. Pace received his undergraduate degree in biology from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky where he was a James Graham Brown Scholar. He graduated medical school at Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky. Dr. Pace completed a traditional internship and trained in orthopaedic surgery at Doctors Hospital of Stark County in Massillon, Ohio. He completed a sports medicine research fellowship and an orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship at American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama under the direction of James R. Andrews, MD.
In addition to general orthopaedics, Dr. Pace specializes in sports medicine and the arthroscopic treatment of injuries. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery by The American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is the Associate Team Orthopaedic Surgeon for Auburn University and Discipline Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery for the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine-Auburn Campus.
Dr. Pace currently resides in Auburn, Alabama with his wife, Candice, a graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. They have a 4-year old son, Jasper, and his favorite colors are blue and orange.
