Under Texas law, and in many other states, property owners (both public and private) must ensure the safety of those on their property and take reasonable precautions to protect them from injury or harm. And if they don’t, and someone is injured on business property or suffers personal injury on private property, the owner can be sued for damages. Learn more in this video.
In the case of personal injury and claims surrounding property damage, you have two years to file a petition with the courts in Texas (there are some exceptions to this). The sooner you take action, the better!
