A hospital caseworker before attending Western University of Health Science College in Pomona, California, John Lynam, DO, has always wanted to help others. He chose to become a urologist in part because he saw his grandfather suffer from and succumb to urologic disease. Dr. Lynam completed his residency in general and urological surgery at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and a fellowship in endourology. “As a urologist, I am able to perform surgery, which has always interested me, but I am also afforded the opportunity to connect with my patients on a personal level.” He went on to say he sees patients as more than just lab results and reports. “I like following up with my patients in the office and building a rapport with them.”
