JP and O Prosthetic and Orthotic Lab was founded in 1989 by David and Robin Yates of Jonesboro to meet the orthotic, prosthetic and pedorthic needs of area residents. David Yates continued his practice until he retired in late 2007. His son, Rob Yates, is the current President and CEO and remains one of our leading clinicians. The practice continued to grow and in February of 2000, JP and O opened an outreach clinic in Mountain Home, Arkansas, that quickly grew into the second full-service JP and O Prosthetic and Orthotic Lab patient care facility. A third JP and O Prosthetic and Orthotic Lab facility was added in Harrison, Arkansas in November of 2007. The fourth JP and O Prosthetic and Orthotic Lab facility opened in Batesville, Arkansas in September of 2008. The fifth JP and O Prosthetic and Orthotic Lab was opened just north of the Arkansas boarder in Branson, Missouri in 2010. The most recent JP and O Prosthetic and Orthotic Lab is a second Jonesboro location located at 2811 Longview Drive. Most of the Jonesboro area patients are seen at this location. In total, JP and O Prosthetic and Orthotic Lab has 6 offices and more than 20 clinic locations in northern Arkansas and southern Missouri. The prosthetic, orthotic and pedorthic leaders at JP and O Prosthetic and Orthotic Lab are constantly looking for more and better ways to serve their patients and offer outreach clinics in both Arkansas and southern Missouri. JP and O Prosthetic and Orthotic Lab continues to serve as a Residency Site for the National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE).
