I specialize with people who are searching for their passions: towards love, during life transitions, in their relationships or career path. Some have careers in the arts (eg., fine artists, builders, performers, musicians, writers), others struggle with food and body image, and feel a hot-fudge sundae, or fitting into a size 2 jeans, are their only salvation. I enjoy working with service providers such as therapists, coaches, alternative healers, or those practicing medicine, law, or even--- custom cake design. Others are graduate students, work in the sciences, activism, technology, administration, academia, teach skills (eg., water aerobics!), teach children. I work with all genders, ages, races, ethnicities, and sexual orientations--many are single, others in relationships, some are raising children. I see both individuals and couples; I enjoy working with people as they brave the world of dating, trans-gender or transexual people in the throws of transition, and stressed-out single parents. I am aware of, and well-versed in oppression of all kinds; I recognize how hurtful it feels to be treated poorly due to your race, or your sexuality, gender, family composition, body type (et al). I have been around many challenges; I understand personally, and through the privelege of working as a therapist for so many years the intricacies and complexities barely below the surface covered by sand--and those hard-core struggles buried in deep, rich soil.
Together we will create a unique space where you are listened to so closely, that we begin to hear a far off sound---the healing calls of your own heart---as if in plain language.
