Julia Griffith, LCSW is a strengths-focused practitioner. She is goal-oriented and appreciates it when a client has specific goals to accomplish. Mrs. Griffith involves the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (changing the way we think about things) as well as Family Systems Therapy (believing that our family and those we are involved with on a daily basis affect us). Being experienced with women’s issues (joining in marriage, infertility, domestic violence, being a mother who works full time); geriatrics (caring for an incapacitated loved one; moving into assisted living or nursing homes, or navigating the web of aging parents); grief and loss issues (losing a spouse, a pet, a marriage); parenting issues (children of all ages); depression; family issues (adoption, over scheduled families, empty-nesting), she is patient and empathetic, but believes in making strides towards positive change. She is encouraging and supportive in working together to solve many of life's challenges. In doing so, she loves collaborating with other professionals and finding resources to resolve life’s issues.
