Julie C. Choi, MD, is a radiation oncologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital and an assistant professor of radiation oncology at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Choi has clinical experience in advanced technology, including Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery, mammosite brachytherapy and body readiosurgery. She provides full spectrum of precision radiation therapy techniques to deliver patients the most advanced treatment available. Board Certified in radiation oncology and internal medicine, Dr. Choi has been in practice for almost 20 years. She is a member of several organizations, including the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American College of Radiation Oncology, the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society, and the Medical Society State of New York. A n award-winning physician, Dr. Choi has been named a Castle Connolly top doctor for the region and the New York Metro Area every year since 2014. She has been published in medical journals such as the_International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics_and deliverd lectures at annual medical meetings. After graduating from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, Dr. Choi completed her internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. She served her residency in radiation oncology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University Medical Center and completed clinical research at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston prior to being named chief resident of radiation oncology during her final year. She has been a practicing radiation oncologist in the Westchester County for over a decade and enjoys treating all sites of disease with a special interest in breast, CNS and lung cancer.
