This is a great way to let your dog try out the sport - all levels are welcome, and trainers will be on the dock and in the water to help out! If your dog needs a job or you're looking for a way to get them some mental stimulation and tire them out, this is the sport for you! K9 Scent Work is modeled after working drug/bomb dog detection training, with dogs taught to find a 'target odor' - in this case, birch essential oil - which is hidden in containers, rooms, vehicles, etc. This class is designed with fun in mind, while also preparing you and your dog to compete! This is a 6-week course for $120, and includes a scent work kit to practice at home!

It’s been a big weekend at K9 Country Club and Aunt Cathy. We just came out to watch her teach her lessons but then we got to actually work some sheepies. Riot, Fizzy and Saahweet were great! I told them the grandpa and grandma in Kentucky would be proud.

Acacia Medical Mission has a FREE Covid Testing Kiosk outside their new clinic location, with a 24hr turn around for results! They will be at 1781 E. Ammann Rd., Bulverde from November 9th through the 23rd. The busier we keep the kiosk, the longer it stays at the clinic.
Major Congratulations to Emily Pourroy and the all the K9CC Scent Work students! With nearly 55 runs they had an impressive 85% Q rate!! And big Congratulations to Raiden and Nicole Lariosa who took high in trial both days, showing not only solid training but consistency in a new environment in their very first trial! Everyone did such an amazing job!😁 K9 Country Club is a proud parent to our K9swat club. Stay tuned for Scent Work fun days and check out the calendar for Emily's next classes.
