Happy Friday Kruger Family We are reminding everyone that we will be CLOSED TOMORROW, SATURDAY 9/26 because with our limited number of staff, we do not have enough help to be here and take appointments. If your pet needs medical attention, please visit the Animal Emergency Clinic located at 118 Greenwood Ave in Bloomington, 309-665-5020 We also want to remind everyone that we will be doing the scheduled drop off process through October 1st, and returning to our normal schedule on October 2nd, as long as the current staff stays healthy. We want to thank everyone that sent us well wished this week. We have the best clients, and we are so proud and lucky that you trust us with your pets. We are also sending out huge Thanks to everyone that has adjusted their schedule by either rescheduling their pet’s appointment, or dropping off for the day on the day of the appointment. Kruger Animal Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated experienced Customer Service Representative. Veterinary experience is preferred but we will train the right individual. We are a well-established, fast paced clinic located on the west side of Normal, IL. Our Client Service Representatives are responsible for helping clients by providing product and service information, scheduling appointments, and checking patients in. In this position you are the first and last impression our clients experience when visiting our hospital. Developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with our clients is key, so we can best take care of their pet’s needs. This is a high paced hospital and requires the level of attention to detail and care to be expected from a top veterinary hospital. Qualifications: • Ability to build rapport with clients • Ability to keep yourself organized amid multiple task from multiple people • Follow through on client requests until they are satisfied • Positive and professional demeanor • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must be able to work shifts that vary Monday-Friday and Sat • Able to work on your feet for hours at a time • Occasionally lift heavy objects (bags of dog food) Responsibilities: • Handle customer inquiries and concerns • Provide information about the products and services • Marketing beneficial products and services • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns • Document and update customer records based on interactions • Scheduling appointments • Preparing in-take forms • Relaying information between the client and our medical staff • Payment processing • Cleaning work space Individual’s schedule will be full-time, weekdays and rotating Saturday mornings, approximately 34-40h/wk. Because appointments vary from day to day and emergencies arise, the staff schedule changes from week to week. Kruger Animal Hospital is seeking certified veterinary technicians as well as veterinary assistants. Our focus is professionalism, being friendly and helpful while catering to our patient's and client's needs. Job Duties: Assistants and technicians will work closely with veterinarians and other teammates and will be utilized to the fullest extent. Candidates must have a strong knowledge base of animal restraint and disease processes, clinical skills, diagnostic procedures, surgery, dentistry, radiology, anesthesia, nursing care, record keeping and updating. Candidates must pay close attention to detail, maintain an impeccably clean facility, follow instructions, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; both among staff members, clients and veterinarians. Candidates must also be independent workers, self-starters, able to effectively utilize down-time and multi-task Qualifications: • Previous experience in animal care is required • Certification is preferred but not required. • Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Schedule is full time, 34-40 hours a week. Weekdays and weekends are required. You must have reliable transportation and live within the surrounding area. Can you believe Christmas is Friday? It has definitely been a long year, filled with many different obstacles and changes. Our team of doctors, front staff, technicians, and kennel staff have worked harder this year than any other year. This year we are showing our appreciation by being closed an extra day this year. We will be closed Saturday 12/26, so our staff can spend more time with their families. Our kennel staff will be here taking care of the boarders everyday. Since our kennel staff does not get any days off, we would love if you would post pictures/words to show them how much they are appreciated for their hard work and the love they have for our patients.
