#VaxFAQ: You cannot get #COVID19 from the vaccine. The vaccine does not contain the live virus. The goal of the vaccine is to teach our bodies how to recognize and fight the virus that causes COVID-19. Sometimes the side effects of the vaccine may make you feel sick. But this is just the body’s immune system beginning to produce antibodies. It takes time for the body to produce those antibodies, so you could still get sick with COVID-19 before or after receiving the vaccine. To learn more, visit http://ow.ly/R4sU50E8lNr. 💉 #BacktheVaxMUSC

The term “robotic” often misleads people. Robots do not perform surgery. Dr. Hatem Abdallah, your robotic surgeon, performs surgery using instruments that he guides via a console. The tiny wristed instruments move like a human hand but with a more extensive range of motion.
