Karen L. Guillory, MD, graduated as an honor student with a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Dr. Guillory received a medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Chicago where she was also chief resident and clinical instructor in pediatrics. Dr. Guillory moved to Denver, Colorado, to complete her fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at the Children's Hospital. Dr. Guillory served as attending physician and associate clinical professor at University of Kansas, Wichita, Wesley Medical Center. She also gained tremendous experience in pediatric transport as the Pedi-Flite medical director at LeBonheur Children's Medical Center at University of Tennessee where she was also an assistant professor of pediatric critical care. Dr. Guillory started her career in San Antonio, Texas where she was the attending physician in pediatric critical care and medical director of pediatric transport at Methodist Children's Hospital. Dr. Guillory is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine.
