It is with heavy hearts we share the loss of one of our Kenmore Animal Hospital family members, Mariel Matias. Mariel passed away suddenly this week after complications from surgery.
Mariel was the loving daughter of Juan and Mildred Matias and grew up in the village of Kenmore.
Mariel was a talented and caring veterinary technician and a bright and shining light at KAH. She joined the Kenmore Team as an intern in 2017 and impressed us with her knowledge and compassion. We knew she was a perfect addition to our family asked her to join us as a permanent team member. After many years of hard work Mariel graduated with degrees in Veterinary Technology and in Management and Information Technology from Alfred State College.
During her beautiful life she made a huge impact on the people and animals who knew her and we will keep her in our heart always. Mariel will always be our ohana.
