We’re excited to resume treating patients on May 4th. Please review the following new protocols so that we can be proactive in keeping you and our team safe.
* Pre-screening if all patients before appointment via phone
* Screening all patients and employees for fever and other flu-like symptoms before entering the office
* Limited, spaced out appointments. To reduce interaction among patients, we will be spacing out appointments and limiting the number of patients we see each day. We encourage virtual consultations which can be accessed through our website (simply tap on virtual smile consult) or requested a live video conference with Dr. Koch via HIPPA compliant platform Doxy.
* Virtual check-in from your car. When you arrive for your appointment, call our office at 205.933.0323. A team member will meet you outside the downstairs main entrance to take your temperature and ask additional questions.
* No guests allowed at appointment. We kindly ask that you come to your appointment alone unless the patient is a minor or requires physical assistance.
* Immediate hand-washing upon arrival and required gargling before treatment will begin.
* KAD will disinfect surfaces and equipment frequently and implement a streamlined visit/checkout to reduce touch points.

After a less than satisfying experience with her pediatric dentist’s first attempt at composite veneers, this sweet patient came to us for a second opinion. She was born with peg laterals and wanted the original attempt at correcting them redone. We replaced her composite veneers with porcelain veneers, added prep-less veneers to her two front teeth, re-contoured her gum line and had her whiten with @korwhitening. Wow, what a difference.
