Kristofer J. Jones, MD, has dedicated his career to treating sports-related musculoskeletal injuries in the Los Angeles area. He’s passionate about leading patients to a complete recovery and a life without pain and restrictions through innovative treatment and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
He’s both board-certified and fellowship-trained in sports medicine, making him highly qualified to treat any knee, shoulder, or elbow injury.
Dr. Jones received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and applied for medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was not only accepted into the program but awarded the Jonathan Rhoads Prize for Surgical Scholarship.
After receiving his graduate degree, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the US News and World Report’s #1 Hospital for Orthopedic Surgery, Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City.
Having authored over 60 scientific manuscripts and textbook chapters and participated in esteemed research projects, Dr. Jones is a leader in his field. He takes great pride in not only his authentic care and concern for each patient he sees, but his ability to restore patients to full health after they’ve suffered debilitating injuries that sometimes feel hopeless.
