Here’s a story to warm your heart! Grandpa sat in the bed of his truck in the parking lot, waiting for his grandchild to be born this morning ❤️❤️ He made the best of the current situation (COVID visitor restrictions) and they could see him from the window of their L&D room! We are so lucky to have the best patients and families!!
We are so grateful to Kyleigh's Gift for supporting our families who are experiencing pregnancy or infant loss. The Kyleigh's Gift Walk/Run raises funds for the Liberty Hospital Foundation to provide each of our newborns a sleep sack, plus educational materials on SIDS prevention. Proceeds from the event also provide diapers, car seats, and pack n plays to families who qualify, as well as meals to breastfeeding moms with babies in the Neonatal ICU.

Beginning Sept. 22, Lightburne, from Mill to Glenn Hendrenn, will be closed to through traffic from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. daily for two weeks. Lightburne will be closed to all traffic from Miller to Doniphan. A contractor for Evergy will replacing power poles in this area.
Local traffic will have access from the north, south or from alternate routes, depending on the destination. Plan for extra time to get to your destination.
