CELEBRATING GRATITUDE MONTH!
What was routine pre COVID is now time consuming and difficult, leading to longer than normal wait times at our clinic and limited interaction between our veterinary staff and clients. Worldwide Gratitude Day is September 21st. We would like to extend it to Gratitude Month. Today, we would like to thank our pet parents for the patience during these difficult times and entrusting us with the care of your beloved pet! Stay tuned for more messages of gratitude from us! Please share any messages of gratitude with us or with your friends and family. WE HAVE AN ATTITUDE FOR GRATITUDE!!!! 🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️ With a BIG HUG - LVC staff!!
And it changes again...
We at the Loveland Vet Clinic understand there is a lot of worry and some confusion regarding the Corona Virus pandemic. Please know that our priority is the health and safety of our clients and staff. In order to still give the best care to our patients we are implementing some guidelines to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19, in accordance with recommendations from the CDC and WHO.
Especially with the stay at home order we want to be sure that you know that you are still allowed to bring in your pets for needed medical treatment.
First, if you are showing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 PLEASE remain at home. If your pet really needs to be seen please find someone that can bring your pet in for you or call us and we can try to figure something else out.
We are going to curbside appointments. We will need you to aid us by following these directions:
If you are bringing in your dog - they must be wearing a snug collar that they can't get out of and be clipped to a leash. Call the clinic when you arrive. We will send a technician out to get them. If your dog is protective with the car we may have you meet us in the yard in order for us to get the leash from you.
If you are bringing in your cat - they must be in a secure carrier. Call the clinic when you arrive and we will send a technician out to get them.
While you are in your car we will be examining your pet in the clinic. We may call you during the exam if the doctor needs some clarification or we need your approval to run some tests. We will then transfer you to our receptionist for payment and the technician will return your pet. If the doctor didn't have to call you they will come out to discuss the exam.
If you are coming to pick up food or medication. Please call us ahead of time to either have the food and meds ready or when you are in the parking lot and we can then deliver to your car.
If you need medication or food for your pet and are unable to come into the clinic to pick up please call us. We do have an online pharmacy that will deliver to your house or some of our staff may be able to deliver it to your front door as well.
We have had to suspend our grooming procedures until the order is lifted. If your pet is in such a shape that they are painful because of matting or other coat issues we can discuss that on a case by case basis.
Be patient. We have not experienced much staffing or inventory issues however, this might occur. Please be patient and know that we will get to you and your pet as quickly as possible.
If you have any questions regarding your pet’s health, our guidelines or what to watch out for please do not hesitate to call or text us.

Please be safe and keep calm.
Thank you again for your continuing trust in us!

We know, we know another COVID-19 post: but at the bottom is cute dog pictures!!

Please know that our priority is the health and safety of our clients and staff. • First, please if you are showing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 to remain at home. If your pet really needs to be seen we can help work something out either by coming to your home to pick up your pet or you sending a friend and speaking on the phone about the exam findings.
• We are asking that no more than two (2) adults over the age of 18 come to your pet’s appointment. Please no children or additional family or friends.
• As our waiting room is small, when you arrive for your pet’s appointment, we have some options.
o Call to ensure that an exam room is ready for you and your pet and come in when ready.
o Call and we can come and get your pet from the car and the doctor can call you with exam findings.
o We can do payments over the phone to avoid contact as well.
• If you are coming to pick up food or medication. Please call us ahead of time to either have the food and meds ready or when you are in the parking lot and we can then deliver to your car.

Rabies is real and not just in scary movies!!
We have been using Merck Nobivac vaccines in our clinic for several years because they are great vaccines, and also because of the great works that Merck Animal Health does globally as you can read and watch below.
59,000 people die each year from rabies.
See how you can help #EraseRabies with Merck Animal
Health and Nobivac by vaccinating your pet.
Contact us to make an appointment and mention
you want to #EraseRabies!

This was a workout!! C section on 12 Irish Setters. Took a lot of blood, sweat and tears but pretty soon we had all of them grunting and looking for food from Mom. Poor mom has a lot of cute babies to care for!!
For many years at Loveland Vet Clinic we have given back to the community in many ways. Through volunteering with local churches, soup kitchens, humane societies and others we have been able to touch so many lives. 2020 has been quite a year. However, we are still excited to be able to give back however we can. One of our favorites is the Adopt – A – Family organization. Normally, we have “ornaments” around the reception desk that describe gifts for needy children and families. Clients would choose, purchase and bring the new present back to us, AAF would then pick up from us and distribute to those in need. With social distancing and curbside appointments, we are managing this differently.
This year, Adopt – A – Family has created a safe way for us all to still give.
1. We will still have the classic ornaments at the office. We will try to display them in the windows facing the parking lot. However, you can always ask a staff member or text us what “ornaments” there are. You can bring the gifts back to us as well and AAF will pick them up from us.
2. Go to our website lovelandveterinarian.com and click on the Christmas Tree link. It will take you to the Adopt – A – Family site where you can pick and donate directly.
3. Click on the link below from Facebook to go directly to their site, Giving Tree. Or click on the Christmas Tree below.
2020 has been a rough year for everyone but by helping others in our community we will raise the spirits of everyone to a place we couldn’t have reached on our own.
We are all in this together!!
From the bottom of our heart THANK YOU for being the best clients I have ever had the pleasure of serving!! God Bless!
