Dr. Martinasevic is board-certified in general surgery and peripheral vascular surgery. His practice is entirely focused upon surgical treatment in a whole spectrum of peripheral vascular diseases, with special interest in endovascular interventions, including the state of the art endovascular approach for abdominal aortic aneurysm repair.
Dr. Martinasevic was born in Tuzla, Bosnia Herzegovina and received a medical degree at the School of Medicine University of Tuzla 1983. He migrated to the United States in 1991. Dr. Martinasevic completed his general surgery training and vascular/endovascular surgical fellowship at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. After completion of his training Dr. Martinasevic joined South Florida Cardiovascular Surgical Associates. On September 11th, 2001, Dr. Martinasevic was in New York and was actively involve as surgeon in a rescue effort.
Dr. Martinasevic has been married to his wife Mariana, child psychiatrist, for 20 years. They have one son. Dr. Martinasevic enjoys traveling, fine art, gourmet food and music.
Dr. Martinasevic is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
