Dr Maurice Alston is a board-certified, fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist with advanced training in cardiovascular disease. Dr Alston specializes in minimally invasive approaches to diagnosing, treating and managing the disease. Dr. Alston earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia, in Suwannee, Georgia, and completed an internal medicine residency at Doctors Hospital, in Columbus, Ohio, where he pursued further training, completing a cardiovascular fellowship and serving as chief cardiovascular fellow. He then completed an interventional cardiovascular fellowship from The Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Alston lives in Chattanooga with his wife and four daughters. A devout Christian and family man, he also enjoys watching and attending sporting events, especially football and basketball.
