This week on "Meet the team Monday"... Introducing Andrew! Andrew has been the Event Manager at McNamara for two years and loves the energy and excitement that events bring to our venue. Andrew has an MBA with a leadership focus and managing the event operations and team is one of his favorite aspects of his job. Andrew always tries to be one step ahead and be a resource for others! When he's not working, Andrew and his family love to escape to their family cabin up north to spend time on the pontoon, running and adventuring to Itasca state park. He has a full house with two cats and a newly-rescued puppy who is now best friends with his 15-month-old son. A lover of both coffee and beer (not together, of course), Andrew is happy to recommend a coffee shop or brewery for you to check out!

Last year at this time, we were diving into one of our busiest weeks ever for October. The week of October 14-20, 2019 we hosted 26 events, including 20 rooms flips by our student set-up crew! Oh, to be busy again!
"Meet the Team Monday" -- Today we meet Amy! Amy is our Director of Marketing & Sales. Her favorite projects over the years have been creating the McNamara website and planning client parties including wedding showcases, Swank and McNamara's 10th and 20th Anniversary celebrations. A mom to 2 adult children, Amy can usually be found in her "sanctuary" -- her second floor art studio where she makes mosaics from glass and ceramics. Her work is currently on view at Red Wing Arts as part of an exhibit of the Minnesota Mosaic Guild. Amy is our fearless boss and we are so grateful for her leadership!
As the Winter season is upon us, the Johnson Great Room offers a cozy "fireside chat" studio for your virtual event. Use our space to pre-record your event speakers and panelists, or produce a live event to off-site participants. Lean on the McNamara team to assist in your virtual and hybrid event needs these upcoming months.

📑 The new order states that celebrations, receptions, parties, significant life events, and similar gatherings are allowed and limited to 10 guests or 2 households indoors, or 15 guests and 3 households outdoors.
🔍This does not apply to wedding ceremonies, funeral ceremonies, and religious services, but it does apply to the related receptions, celebrations, parties, and gatherings that occur before or after the service or ceremony.🔎
